Susan has served as chief marketing officer of The NPD Group, a leading global provider of market information and business solutions, since 2001. In her role she leads the company’s marketing initiatives for more than 20 business practices and oversees all corporate marketing initiatives worldwide including branding, lead generation and sales support, events, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and corporate communications. This past year, Susan championed the development of the company’s signature executive level summit, IDEA.
Before joining The NPD Group, she was founder and general manager of Cone Interactive in New York City, a highly regarded marketing and public relations practice in Silicon Alley, where she led the launches and evolution of numerous digital brands.
Throughout her career Susan has had the opportunity to work in both B2C and B2B companies—developing strategies and programs for new corporate and product launches, repositioning brands, and developing the staff and organization necessary to ensure the operation of successful marketing teams.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She has served on the ARF’s Young Pros Advisory Board.
