Blockchain and its impact on the retail industry

Interested in How Blockchain Can Impact Your Retail Business?

If you’re like me, you’ve been hearing a lot about blockchain for months now, however, you’re still a bit fuzzy about how the technology works. And perhaps even more important, what the retail applications are for the technology.
Well, don’t fret; help is on the way. Julie Lyle, a dear friend of Women in Retail Leadership Circle (who gave a great presentation at the Women in Retail Leadership Summit earlier this year), is speaking on the topic of blockchain at a new event called Loyalty Live, taking place Oct. 16-18 at the JW Marriott in Chicago. Loyalty Live is designed to help retailers understand how blockchain can be applied to their businesses. Unlike other blockchain events, the focus here is on practical applications, not the technology in general. Loyalty Live is being hosted by Untraceable Inc., an events company that has been organizing blockchain events since 2013, from the First Bitcoin Expo in Canada to the first Ethereum hackathon in the world.
Loyalty Live will bring together C-suite executives from retail and other industries, as well as influencers from marketing, loyalty and blockchain disciplines. Attendees will learn how to leverage blockchain to improve their loyalty programs, including operating programs at low cost and high security; acquiring more loyalty members; and increasing value for existing members. Attendees of Loyalty Live can also participate in Blockchain Bootcamp, the only event where blockchain beginners and seasoned loyalty marketers can learn the fundamentals of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and its impact on the future of loyalty and rewards.
Loyalty Live attendees will leave the event with compelling insights about blockchain, including how the technology is reshaping loyalty and brand relationships with customers worldwide. This is a unique opportunity for retailers to learn about this fast-moving disruptive technology that’s being adopted at light speed outside the U.S. — and is now picking up steam in North America.
And the best part? Women in Retail Leadership Circle members can attend Loyalty Live for FREE! If you’re interested in attending, please contact me at and I can send you a free pass.
